Bramson ORT offers an extensive Web Design and Web Animation program that covers all major web applications and animation programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash. Web Design and Animation is an essential program for creative individuals, who wish to work in today’s design industry. Bramson ORT offers modern MAC Labs, and instructors who work in the design industry to help them gain practical knowledge and skills. Students study web design in conjunction with graphic and visual communications courses, which gives them the extra edge necessary to create stateof- the-art web sites and web development projects.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Bramson ORT College offers a Computer Technology Associate Degree with a concentration in Web Design and Animation. Our Associate Degree program in Computer Technology is accredited by the New York State Department of Education. Emphasis is put on both the theory and practical application of web design and animation. The class will focus on web page planning, basic, design, layout, and construction, setup and maintenance of a web site, HTML, CSS and various web page and image creation tools. Graduates of the program will be able to develop, maintain, update web design and web animation projects in an office or an industrial setting.

Employment Opportunities

A Web Designer may take part in the initial planning of a web site, meeting with the client to discuss ideas for the layout and organization of the site. The Web Designer chooses the types of colors or images to use (photos, illustrations, videos, etc) and other matters concerning overall graphic design. Companies have ever increasing needs for web designers and web masters in all industries to create their online presence, to sell products and services and make online applications for millions of users.
