Computer Sales Certificate
Information Technology and Computer Sales agents are responsible for the sale of computer hardware, software and related products. Computer sales representatives work in a variety of industries all across the world. Bramson ORT College's Computer Sales Certificate program is designed to provide graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge in software, hardware, networking, programming, business management and salesmanship, to obtain employment in the area of computer sales.
The Computer Sales program offered at Bramson ORT College offers a unique mix of business and computer courses. Students are trained in the fundamentals of sales and business management, as well as in advanced computer concepts. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to work in various work settings as a computer sales representative.
Typical work activities as an Information Technology and Computer Sales representative include:
- Full understanding of technology and technological trends
- Detailed knowledge of technical specifications
- Demonstrating software and hardware products
- Understanding customers' diverse, specific needs, and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
- Providing basic technical advice and solutions
- Helping customers understand features of software packages
- Advising customers on the care of purchased good
- Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals
Credits obtained by students while in the Computer Sales Certificate program are transferable to two-year and four-year programs at Bramson ORT College and other colleges and universities worldwide. In order to earn the Computer Sales Certificate at Bramson ORT College, a student must complete at least 30 credits.
